A woofer is the term used to define speakers used in home theatre systems that can effectively convert electromagnetic radiations into sound waves. Therefore woofers and the in-built sound system make it possible for us to hear the sounds. All you need to do is connect these woofers to a power output and enjoy the sound of music without paying heavy electricity bills. Before purchasing any woofers it is advisable to carry your favorite bass CD to the store and hear it on the system to judge its sound quality. Good quality woofers will make the sound appear deep and not boomy.
