Tips for Painting over your Existing Wallpaper
If you have tried to take out the wallpapers before, you must have experienced a great trouble with it. The wallpapers simply resist any attempt that makes them away from the wall; while on the other hand, they themselves come out when you do not want. Ripping the wallpapers from the wall may be a tedious work. You can directly paint over it. However, there are some steps that you should take in order to ensure that the wallpapers do not spoil the luster of the spoil of the paint.
Take a careful look at the existing wallpapers. Note down where all the wallpapers are loose and where all have they spoilt the smoothness by tearing off along with the coating on the wall. You will have to take out the loose wallpapers and apply some sort of joint compound on the sides so that these wallpapers do not attempt to get loose. Before applying the final coat, apply a sealer that will keep the wallpaper stuck to the wall while creating a plain base for you to paint.
