A squeaking bed frame is an indication that one of the sides holding the bed together is broken is loose. It is important to fix this minor problem as soon as possible as there is a risk of the bed falling apart altogether and may require you to invest in another one.
Determine the loose point of the bed that is the source of the squeak and start to work from there. If there is a loose point use a screw driver to bolt in the nuts firmly; you may want to ask for a helping hand to allow you to hold the bed in position. Ensure that when bolting in the nuts that you do not do so too tightly as this could cause one side of the bed to hang.
If the squeak is as a result of breakage see that you replace the side that is broken with another wood for the bed. For a broken bed side replacing it could be the best method to stop the squeak.
