Straight and Curved Rails

These are types of stair lifts. They come in to type that is the first which is designed for straight stairs. In this one, the footrest of the lift will always stop level with the top stairs. The other one is the expensive type which is the curved one. In this one, it can travel around bends on the stairs and can be made to run on to the landing.
The good thing about the curved stair rails is that they can be fitted on either side of the stairs. The layout of the stairs that are in the home are the ones that determine the layout that is most suitable. There are other situations that on is capable of fitting a straight rail and stairs that have a turn at the top. There are people that may say that these rails are expensive but they are good for your home and they are also very comfortable.
