Here are a few tips that you can follow that will make sure that pet fur is only found on your pets and nowhere else-

1)      The best and the most common method is to get your rugs vacuumed. But even after that some furs do remain.

2)      For stubborn furs that refuse to go, spray a mixture of water and fabric softener and allow it to dry. Once dry, vacuum again.

3)      Instead of the fabric conditioner, bleaching powder can be used as well. Not only does this does away with fur but also the smell of pets.
