Home Improvement, Attic InsulationHome is a place where one expects all the comfort. Insulation and ventilation of all the other parts of the house is done meticulously but most of the time attic is left out. Attic remains the hottest and coldest parts of the house during the summer and winter respectively causing an unnecessary rise of energy cost.

• Have adequate insulation on the attic floor to stop inflow of heat and cold into the house.

• Use fiberglass or rock wool blankets or bats to insulate the attic

• You may also use blown insulation of cellulose fiber.

• Install the rafter vents near the soffit vents to stop cutting and blocking of airflow which is necessary.

• Find the estimation of how much insulation is required in your attic.

• Never compress the insulation, simply lay it down.

• If you can insulate your attic, it will certainly make your home more comfortable.
